Can I identify with the problems of Bethany Ashton? Certainly! Can I relate to her anguish over haughty people? Absolutely! In trying to improve her life, however, Bethany started down the slippery slope of deceit. As I followed her many adventures, I did not want to put down the book. I could hardly wait to see how the author resolved the problem of a good-hearted Bethany, yet a young lady who waded ever deeper into muddles. Myrna Parks wrapped up this helpful, exciting story with a happy and logical conclusion. As we all know, circumstances often encourage us either to choose truth or to choose deceit. When we choose truth, even after deceit, things simply turn out better. Read and enjoy this book. Then, share it with anyone who loves a good story. (I'm ready to read more from Myrna Parks. You will be, too, as soon as you finish Truth and Circumstances!)
i recently finished reading "truth and circumstances" and was thoroughly impressed. i usually prefer non-fiction books, however, "truth and circumstances" has made me rethink my bias. the author skillfully incorporates a wholesome message, action, and suspense into a love story. i recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good fictional story with a meaningful underlying theme.
I loved this book, it had my attention from start to finish. I would read it again. I am definently looking for more books by this author. Also it was just right in length
A humorous and light story that managed to put a smile on my face and keep it there to the very end with a chuckle or two along the way. Beth is a character who's good nature wins you over. It becomes easier to overlook her negative traits the more you get to know her. Carter is not the most dashing of heros but is aimiable enough for Beth. A few predictable surprises but never the less an enjoyable read.
Truth and Circumstances is very well-written and captured my attention from the moment I began reading. So light-hearted and refreshing! I can't wait to see what Mrs. Parks writes next!!
I laughed, I cried, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. If you're a romantic at heart, this book is for you. And if you're not, give it a read anyways. I'm more of a paranormal horror fan, but Truth and Circumstances by Myrna Parks was quite refreshing for me. No violence, obscene language, or pornographic sex scenes. Very refreshing indeed. I'm an instant fan and can't wait for her next book.
